I finally got my hands on a Wayne Gretzky rookie card, but this is much more than just a card to me.
7 years ago I sold my Gretzky rookie card so that we could pay our bills.
At the time I heard Dr. Wayne Dyer say,
“Whatever your passion is I promise you,
you can make a living doing it.”
My passion was putting a face and voice to various issues of mental health. So with my wife cheering me on and her ongoing support, my time and energy went into making this dream a reality.
I found mentors, surrounded myself with people who lifted me up, and asked A LOT of questions. It has been one hell of a grind, but wow has it ever been worth it.
I truly hope that you can chase your passions and live out your dreams.
