Every storm in life has two purposes:
To destroy what isn’t solid, and to reveal what is.
Pain shows up in a variety of ways, but I don’t believe that it comes to ruin us. Pain is a powerful teacher that allows us to remove what is no longer needed.
And, when the storm passes (because it always does) you emerge more resilient and better equipped for the challenges ahead.
So, the next time that life throws you a curve ball try asking, “What is this trying to show me?” rather than, “Why is this happening to me?”
In other words, what if the storm is working for you, not against you?
The victim mentality never helped me, and I can promise it won’t help you either.
